Sedona

Things to do in Sedona:

Jeep tour: We used A day in The West. I really enjoyed it and our driver was great and knew a lot of history about Arizona and Sedona. I’ve used Pink Jeep tour before, I would only go through them if you really want to go on the broken arrow tour because they’re the only company that has access. If you don’t care about which tour than I would go through A day in the west because they go on the same tours and they’re cheaper.

Hikes: There are a lot of hikes in Sedona. My favorite is devils bridge and mystic trail (more for sentimental reason since this hike is walking distance from my grandparents and I’ve been hiking it since I was little)

Day trip to the Grand Canyon: From Sedona its about a 1 1/2-2 hour drive and WORTH IT!!!!! If you’ve never been it is worth making a trip while you’re in Sedona. Pictures do not do it justice. I recommend leaving early and having breakfast at El Portal restaurant in Sedona, it’s really quaint and they open early. Once you get to the park there are different view points depending on how long you want to spend. Eat lunch at the El Tovar, you have a view of the Canyon and the food is delicious.

Day trip to Jerome: This small, old mining town  is built on a hill. It’s about 25 minutes from Sedona. It’s a walkable town that has a lot of shops and restaurants. My favorite restaurant is Grapes. I recommend getting a salad, they’re delicious. There are also a few wineries, my favorite is Bitter Creek Winery. We had the 4 wine tasting (you can choose from 4, 6, all red or all white) and I already felt drunk at the end (I’m such a light weight) they also serve appetizers and small plates and have a beautiful view of the valley (shown in my picture of me holding the glass of wine).
