22 miles, 16 hours, 2 days, 14,508 ft. elevation, 4 snow crossings, and highest summit in the contiguous United States. I can’t even begin to describe all the emotions I felt while hiking Mt. Whitney. It was the most physically and mentally challenging thing I have done. The pain, delirium, and exhaustion was worth every view, memory and being able to summit. What made this experience even more memorable was the amazing company I had with me. I could not have asked for a better group to hike up with.
