Things to do: See the Colosseum and take a tour inside, it’s absolutely incredible and definitely should be seen once in your life. We were in Rome for one day and we were able to see the main sites like the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Spanish steps. We wanted to visit the vatican but we didn’t have enough time. Rome is a walking city but you do need to take the metro into Vatican city.

Restaurants: Mamma Angela– One of my favorite restaurants in Italy and they are vegetarian friendly too 🙂

Bar: The bar at Hotel Eden– The area that the hotel is in is so cute and was my favorite part of Rome (Chases too) Rome has a lot of history and it was fun walking around but it is very dirty and soooo crowded every where. Anyways back to the hotel. Hotel Eden is AMAZING!!! We went here because Chases distant cousin was performing at the hotel bar (George Clooney apparently came here just to see him perform) and thought it would be fun. We walked in and were completely in ahhh about how grand everything was. There is actually 2 bars in the hotel and the one his cousin was playing at was so nice (we kinda felt like Jack when he walked into the dinning room in the Titanic) they were only serving very expensive champagne and there was only a couple of people so we decided to see what the other bar looked like. The main bar is like a typical trendy/modern bar but with beautiful views of Rome. One drink was 30 euros so we decided to get one and sip slowly lol. I got a spritz and when the waiter served me it, he had edible perfume and “spritzed” my drink… I felt so fancy lol. They also serve you fancy appetizers (one of them was this spinach foam cake… it sounds disgusting but it was one of the most delicious and interesting foods I’ve ever eaten) If you’re in Rome I would definitely come here and get one drink or if you’re feeling up to it have brunch at their restaurant I hear it’s amazing and maybe you’ll see George Clooney 😉
