My Favorite things to do in New York

11/15/2019

Chase and I dream of living in New York at some point in our lives. There’s something about the city that makes us feel so inspired and alive. It’s our favorite place to visit and the city might be the reason we actually started dating–but we’ll talk more about that later ;). I get to visit more often than him because my schedule is more flexible, so I try to visit at least once a year, if I’m lucky, sometimes twice. Here’s a list of some of my favorite activities to do, restaurants to eat at, and bars for relaxing and cocktails.

Activities

Walk through Central Park (Make sure you take your time, take the trails when you see them, climb the rocks, and sit on the steps that overlook the Boat House)

Shop in Soho

Window shop on 5th Avenue

Walk the High Line (Chelsea Market is along the pathway and has a variety of stores and restaurants)

Walk or Bike the Brooklyn Bridge & walk around Dumbo

See a Broadway show

Visit a museum (The Moma and Met are my favorite)

Eat Lunch in Central Park or in one of the square parks

During Christmas- Ice Skate at Wollman’s in Central Park, watch the Bloomingdales light show, visit The Rockefeller Center to see the giant christmas tree, walk 5th Ave (all of the store fronts have beautiful lighting), shop Bryant Park christmas market, honestly just walking around the city is magical. New York does christmas so well!!!!
